Our surface mount rework stations enable our electronic engineers to safely and effectively replace both through-hole and surface mount devices. This is combined with an extensive range of additional test equipment, we are enable to carry out repairs to most circuit boards with both through-hole and surface mount components. We use advanced in-circuit testing to 'functionally' test many of the components, including surface mount devices. We use tracing techniques acquired over the years and wherever possible, functionally test using methods similar to that of the manufacturer.
Connection diagrams are always helpful in speeding up the repair process.
Our electronic repairs can be carried out without the use of circuit diagrams. Voltronics Cape has a team of experienced engineers to tackle repairs of equipment ranging from small PCB's through to large industrial drives.
